Carlos Abboud (Argentina, France) is a lawyer, entrepreneur and collector. In Paris, where he moved to age 28, Carlos Abboud was inserted into the world of Argentinian artists. These personal ties were the basis of the creation of the Cerro Timbó sculpture park, inaugurated in 2013 after he moved to Uruguay.
Pablo Atchugarry (Uruguay) is a sculptor and a collector. Renowed for its monumental works made in Carrara marble, Atchugarry created in 2007 the Fundación Pablo Atchugarry in Punta del Este with the aim of creating a meeting point between art and the public. Since then he divides his work and residence between Italy and Uruguay.
Waltercio Caldas (Brazil) is a sculptor, designer and graphic artist. He is one of the most recognized and respected Brazilian contemporary artists. He occupied a key role in the generation that unites the historical innovations of the Concrete and Neo-Concrete artists of the '50s and' 60s.
Ángel Kalenberg (Uruguay) was Director of the Museo Nacional de Artes Visuales (1969-2007), vice-president of the International Council of Modern Art Museums and member of the Governing Council of the Institut Valencià d’Art Modern (2007-2013), as the curator of several Biennials.
Cristina Bausero (Uruguay) is an architect, Professor at the University of the Republic and Director of the Museo Juan Manuel Blanes, curator of the 10th Architecture Biennial of Venice (2006) and winner of the Morosoli Silver Award for Cultural Management (2009).
