Gerardo Goldwasser (Uruguay, 1961) has been in residence at the Atelier Internationale du Fond Regional d'Art Contemporain (FRAC) des Pays de la Loire, Nantes (1996), in New York (Bienarte III Grant) (1992), and at the workshop of Ediciones Arte dos Gráfico, Bogotá (1999). He received the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Scholarship, New York (2001). He represented Uruguay in various biennials of visual arts, among which stand out: I International Art Biennial of Panama (2013); IX International Biennial of Cuenca (2007), II Biennial of Engraving of Mercosur, Buenos Aires (2000), VI Biennial of Havana (1997), and I Biennial of Visual Arts of Mercosur, Porto Alegre (1997).
Pablo Uribe (Uruguay, 1962). He represented Uruguay at the 53rd Venice Biennale (2009) with the video installation Sunset. In 2001 the Ministry of Education and Culture awarded him the Gran Premio Nacional de Artes Visuales for the triptych Proof of heaven; and in 2016 he received the XXI Premio Figari granted by the Banco Central del Uruguay in recognition of his career.
Laura Malosetti Costa based in Argentina since 1974. Specialist in Latin American art and visual culture of the 19th century. She has a doctorate in Art History from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, she is a member of the Academia Nacional de Bellas Artes de la Argentina, principal investigator of the Consejo Nacional de Investigación Científica y Tecnológica (CONICET). She is a professor of Argentine and Latin American Art and of Theory and Historiography of Art, she is currently Dean of the School of Art and Heritage at the Universidad de San Martín. She is the author of several books and numerous articles on Uruguayan and Latin American art, and curator of exhibitions in national and international museums. Among them: Primeros modernos en Buenos Aires (MNBA, Buenos Aires 2007), Entresiglos. El impulso cosmopolita en Rosario (Museo Castagnino Rosario 2012), Collivadino. Buenos Aires en construcción (MNBA, Buenos Aires 2013), La seducción fatal. Imaginarios eróticos del siglo XIX (MNBA, Buenos Aires 2014), La Protesta (Hospicio Cabañas, Guadalajara, Mexico 2015), Tabaré Cosmopolita (Museo Zorrilla, Montevideo Uruguay, 2018) and Pintores en tiempos de la Independencia (Museo Nacional de Colombia, 2019 ). Since 2006 she has accompanied Pablo Uribe as curator in several individual exhibitions, such as Entre dos Luces (Museo Blanes, Montevideo) and the anthological exhibition on the occasion of the XXI Premio Figari, 2016.
