Martin Bernard Galeria Baró, Director (Brazil)

Túlio Pinto (Brazil) graduated in visual arts with specialization in sculpture at the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) in 2009. He also studied with Charles Watson in the courses "Creative Process" (2005) and "Provenance and Property" (2007). He has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions held in museums and national or international institutions including the Museu Brasileiro de Escultura e Ecologia of Sao Paulo, the Museu Oscar Niemeyer in Curtitiba (2016), the Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art (2015), the Vancouver Biennale, Canada (2014) and the Santander Cultural from Porto Alegre (2013). His works are included in public and private collections such as the Museu Nacional of Brasília, the Mesa Community College Gallery (Arizona) and the Fundação Cultural de Itajaí, Brazil.
Martin Bernard (Brazil) is Director of the Baró gallery based in Sao Paulo. The gallery Baró opened its doors in 2010 and since then managed to establish itself as a reference on International art in the Brazilian art circuit. Created and also directed by Spanish Maria Baró, the gallery is based in Sao Paulo on a 1,500m2 renovated warehouse in the burgeoning neighbourhood of Santa Cecília. The gallery aims to enhance the dialogue between artists, curators, collectors and cultural institutions.
