The SUBTE is an art center that depends on the Intendencia de Montevideo. Located in the Plaza Juan Pedro Fabini, on the historical axis of the capital, it is dedicated to promoting interest, knowledge and enjoyment of the different manifestations of contemporary arts, connecting Montevideo with the region and the world. Through an interdisciplinary program, which allows expanding perceptual capacity and enables knowledge transfer, the SUBTE encourages direct experience and research as ways to promote inclusion and coexistence.
