Madragoa is a contemporary art gallery founded by the Italian director Matteo Consonni and the Portuguese biologist Gonçalo Jesus. Inaugurated in April 2016 in the historic quarter of Madragoa in Lisbon, which gives its name to its space. From its beginnings, it actively participates in the Portuguese artistic scene while being present at international fairs. The gallery works with Portuguese, Latin American and European artists.
