Kavlin Cultural Center is a foundation oriented to the diffusion of contemporary artistic practices. It proposes to develop programs for the dissemination and exhibition of various artistic expressions. It also promotes educational and artistic research projects. Located in a strategic point of Uruguay, Kavlin aims to break with the seasonality of the eastern region and is considered as a regional benchmark for the visual arts. In addition to being a center for art and education, Kavlin manifests itself as a memorial to the trajectory of Enrique and Marcos Kavlin, who introduced commercial photography to South America. They are remembered for their contributions to photography and their solidarity with colleagues from various countries.
