In Situ, created by Fabienne Leclerc in 2001, began by partnering with the galleries on rue Louise Weiss in the 13th distric. Installed for 7 years in the 6th district, the gallery then moved to the Marais in November 2013, before opening a new space in January 2017 at 14 boulevard de la Chapelle. In Situ aims to promote young artists from the French and International scene, as well as to support projects by more established artists. Many artists from the Galerie des Archives, the first gallery opened by Fabienne Leclerc, continue to collaborate with In Situ: Gary Hill (USA), Mark Dion (USA), Patrick Corillon (Belgium), Patrick Van Caeckenbergh (Belgium), Lynne Cohen (USA), Andrea Blum (USA), Florence Paradeis (France).
