El Buen Salvaje
El Buen Salvaje is a sui generis publishing house, whose objective is to put into circulation books that build bridges between disciplines, challenge classifications and generate new milestones. Focused on the most relevant local contemporary artistic production, each of our publications will have a particular format and type of content, adapting to the particularities of the language and proposal of each author. We seek to develop attractive and meaningful products. Promote unlikely encounters. Generate surprise and pleasure, reflection and fun.

Pablo Uribe
Pablo Uribe (Montevideo, 1962). He lives and works in Uruguay. He studied architecture at the University of the Republic and visual arts with Guillermo Fernández. He represented Uruguay at the 53rd Venice Biennale. In 2016 he received the XXI Figari Prize, awarded in recognition of his career. His work explores the diverse relationships that make up the practice of art. His research extends towards a questioning of the neutrality implicit in artistic production, exhibition spaces and their collections. This activity has resulted in the study of the links between subjects and objects, whose stories—real or fictional—go to the point of questioning his role as author. In a continuous shift between roles and formats, he has used historical, literary, architectural, musical, and theatrical references. His stagings, reworkings, montages, impressions or overprints seek to invade the sensitive domain of the viewer to operate intentional changes in his memory and imagination. “Croma I, 2016. Nicanor Blanes, Bella Vista” is his first editorial project.
