SHARON LERNER
Between 2012 and 2019, she held the role of Curator of Contemporary Art at the Lima Art Museum (MALI), subsequently assuming the position of Chief Curator of the institution from June to December 2021. Currently, she holds the position of Director of MALI. She earned her master's degree in Curatorial Practice from the California College of the Arts in San Francisco (2010). In 2010 she obtained the 101 Curatorial Fellowship from the Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts and at the same time she worked as a researcher for the Kadist Art Foundation in San Francisco, USA. She has edited the book Contemporary Art. Lima Art Museum Collection (MALI, 2013), as well as catalogs on the work of Armando Andrade Tudela, Fernando Bedoya, Johanna Hamann, Alejandro Alayza, Emilio Rodríguez Larraín and Jorge Eielson. In 2015 she joined the curatorial team of the 3rd Medellín Encounter (MED15). Between 2015-2017 she was part of the curatorial team for the project “Memories of Underdevelopment”, organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art of San Diego, the MALI and the Museo Jumex of Mexico, as part of the PST: LA / LA initiative of the Getty Foundation. In 2019 she was in charge of the Peru Guest Country section at ARCO Madrid.

MARU VIDAL
Maru Vidal (Montevideo, 1978) is a Specialist in Cultural and Technical Management in Museology from the University of the Republic of Uruguay. For almost two decades she has worked in relation to different organizations and institutions, public and private, with an impact on the artistic, social, cultural and educational environment of Uruguay. In the public sphere – and in the field of visual arts – she began her actions in 2006 as executive producer of the Platform Program of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay. She was the General Coordinator of the Contemporary Art Space between 2010 and 2020. In 2015, she was Fair Manager of the first edition of Uruguay's contemporary art fair, ESTE ARTE. Since December 2020, she is the Coordinator of the SUBTE Exhibition Center of the Municipality of Montevideo.
