Renos Xippas (France-Uruguay) started his career working with his uncle Alexander lolas in 1973. Building on this experience, he became the manager of Greek artist Takis, spearheading his career on an international level. In 1987, Renos Xippas moved to Paris to manage the installation of 66 monumental sculptures by Takis in La Défense. It also provided Renos Xippas with the opportunity to set up his first gallery in the Marais area.To enable the exhibition of larger works, an important exhibition space was also created outside of Paris, in Pacy-sur-Eure, with a 2000 square meters surface. Encouraged by these ventures Renos Xippas opened a gallery in Athens, Greece (2003) and in Montevideo, Uruguay (2010). In addition, he also opened a gallery in Geneva, Switzerland (2011), and Punta del Este (2020).

En esta oportunidad contaremos con la presencia del artista uruguayo Ricardo Lanzarini, en conversación con Renos Xippas, Fundador y Director de Xippas Galleries. Por medio del diálogo se focalizará en los proyectos del artista, sus modos de crear, sus inquietudes y búsquedas, rastreando los puntos que vitalicen el encuentro e incluyan la participación espontánea del público.

Renos Xippas (Francia-Uruguay) comenzó su carrera trabajando con su tío Alexander lolas en 1973. A partir de esta experiencia, se convirtió en el gerente del artista griego Takis, encabezando su carrera en un mercado internacional. En 1987, Renos Xippas se mudó a París para gestionar la instalación de 66 esculturas monumentales de Takis en La Défense. También instaló su primera galería en el área de Marais. Para habilitar la exhibición de obras más grandes, creó un espacio de exhibición importante fuera de París, en Pacy-sur-Eure, con un área de 2000 metros cuadrados.
