Raquel Montero, Collector (Argentina)
in conversation with Martín Pelenur, Artist (Uruguay)
Martín Pelenur (Uruguay) is an visual artist, he studied at the FAC (Contemporary Art Foundation) with Fernando López Lage (1998-2003). Since 2002 he exhibits his work, collectively and individually, in the Rio de la Plata region and abroad. Among the awards he has received are the Goethe Institute Scholarship Prize, Berlin. 54 National Visual Arts Award (2010) and the Paul Cézanne Alliance française Award of Montevideo (2011). His project La Pecera has also been awarded by the Emprende Cultura Fund, financed by the European Union (2016) and by the Regional Fund for Culture. National Directorate of Culture of the MEC (2017). His work is present in Uruguayan and Argentine collections.
Raquel Montero (Argentina) art lover, psychoanalyst and social psychologist graduated from the School of Pitchon Rivière. In the field of psychology, she has been part of the group therapy team at the School of Psychotherapy of Dr. Fernández Moujan and she has participated in social integration plans for adolescents with criminal causes. At the same time, she has attended of colloquia Collège de France and seminars of the School of the Cause (Paris). She also hosted a discussion tv program with parents and teenagers, Channel 7 (1983) and the radio program Palabreando on Radio FM La Isla (2010). In her role as a writer, her novels are untied: Otros en mi (2012) and En tu Nombre (2016).
